Christmas Time exists to make the Christmas season more accessible to local children and families by creating a welcoming community celebration with free admission and a free core family experience.
The event is made possible by volunteers, community organizations, businesses and individual supporters who believe families should be able to celebrate together without worrying about the cost of admission or activities.
From a local idea to a regional tradition.
Christmas Time began as a smaller community effort and has grown dramatically. The 2025 event welcomed 1,140 people, including 475 children, in only six hours.
Christmas Time
Christmas Time is a Waseca-based Minnesota nonprofit corporation and 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. Its signature event is Christmas Time at The Mill.
Our goal is simple: create memorable, welcoming Christmas experiences by bringing community partners together around children and families.
